Non-Emergent Transfers

Since 2006, G&H Ambulance has been doing non-emergency transports of patients who need an ambulance. This could be from the hospital returning to home, or from health care facility to another facility such as rehab, or anywhere else applicable. We can go 1/2 a mile or 700+ miles. G&H can handle any transport that comes in that fits the following categories:

Basic/BLS Transport: Any transport that does not require any medications or interventions outside EMT-Basic level care.

ALS Transport: Any transport that requires basic and advanced interventions such as IV therapy, cardiac monitor, etc.

P.I.F.T. or Paramedic Interfacility Transfer: Sometimes a patient will be on a certain medication and they are also required to be transported to another facility to improve their care. If the medication cannot be stopped, then a paramedic with special training can take that patient with the medication running.

We have two 'Transfer vans' that we purchased recently from AEV out of Mexico, ME. They have  Chevy Express chassis with a diesel powered 3500c engine.
