G&H is part of the Heart Safe Community program. We engage in community programs such as; CPR classes, blood pressure clinics, and blood drives. For more information on the program click HERE! If you have any questions email Chief Strout.
The service also helps the community each holiday. On Thanksgiving the service gathers food and donates it to a local food bank. We also donate turkeys to the local radio station turkey drive. Christmas time we help out families by buying gifts for them. On Halloween we drive around town and hand out candy to trick-or-treaters....and much more!
Another way we are a part of the community is we do standby EMS coverage for events in the area. One example is we are the primary ambulance for the horse races at the Hollywood Slots Raceway in Bangor.
